As you can see, we have chosen a snail as our mascot.

In the Valais, most of the villages’ inhabitants have nicknames. The residents of Leuk – i.e. our community – are known as “snails”. This is perhaps due to the many vineyards here, which is where lots of snails can be found.

Our camping guests also carry their homes, i.e. their tent or their caravan, around with them – just like the snail. Mascots usually bring good luck; for us, the happy snail is the distinctive mark of our business.

That is why you will find our mascot not only here on our homepage, but also on all of our printed matter, our internal signs, etc.
